Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is seeking a Manager of Risk Management (Credit Risk Governance) in Malaysia. You will monitor credit portfolio performance, analyze risks, and escalate vulnerabilities under BNM guidelines while overseeing SCEL, Connected Parties, Cagamas securitization, and stress testing.

You will lead a team of credit risk professionals, manage key stakeholder relationships, and report to the Head of Credit Risk. A relevant risk background and leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking or related field with risk focus.
• Experience in credit risk assessment, governance, and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to lead teams and communicate complex risk concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor credit portfolio performance and risks under governance guidelines.
• Lead the CAQ presentations, governance materials, and portfolio reporting.
• Coordinate workflows for securitization and funding strategies with partners.
• Maintain SCEL policies, dashboards, and advisor to internal stakeholders.
• Oversee Connected Parties monitoring and regulatory submissions to BNM.
• Lead, develop and mentor the risk team and strengthen model governance.
