Job summary

bp in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Credit Data & Analytics Lead to join the extended global Credit team within the Trading & Shipping business. You will help develop quantitative models, reporting tools and data-driven insights to support senior leadership and risk management across bp.

Lead the design and maintenance of credit models (PD/LGD/EAD/PFE), manage core credit data, and build dashboards using Python, SQL and PowerBI. A strong quantitative background is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Strong background in financial risk management and quantitative modelling.
• Experience with PD/LGD/EAD, PFE and CVA modelling.
• Proficiency in Python/SQL/PowerBI and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain credit risk models and pricing tools.
• Analyse large credit datasets and produce reports for senior management.
• Develop dashboards and MI to support bp's credit risk insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Support data integration, automation and new system/tool initiatives.
