Job summary

BP plc in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Core Finance Analyst to join the ST&S Finance & Risk team. You will independently deliver core finance activities, produce management information and support valuation reviews for assigned portfolios, with a focus on accuracy and process improvement.

Working in a hybrid model, you will collaborate with Commercial Finance, Controllership and Front Office to resolve data and valuation issues, drive improvements and enable sustainable business-as-usual processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, engineering, data or related field.
• Experience in commodity trading finance, valuation control, management information, or related analytical environment.
• Experience with physical or financial commodity valuations, trading data, agile delivery or global service models.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality management information and performance analysis.
• Perform valuation review activities for assigned portfolios with independence.
• Support new commercial activity from assessment through implementation.
• Lead defined improvement initiatives within scope and drive process improvements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve data, valuation and process issues.
