Job summary

Mayflower Car Rental Sdn Bhd seeks a detail‑oriented Credit Control Executive to manage collections, negotiate payment plans, and ensure payments are made within agreed credit terms. This role supports monthly targets and maintains accurate financial records.

The position involves following up with customers, updating aging reports, and collaborating with AR/AP teams on e-invoice workflows. Fresh graduates are welcome; work location is Segambut Industrial Area with shuttle service to nearby MRT

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years above of working experience in credit control, collections, or accounts receivable (experience in the car, leasing, or financial services industry is an advantage).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and Word).
• Good communication and negotiation skills with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• A proactive team player with a problem-solving mindset and customer-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments within approved credit terms.
• Follow up with customers via calls, emails, or reminders to minimize overdue accounts.
• Prepare and update aging reports and submit to Head of Credit Control by the 10th of each month.
• Collaborate with AR and AP teams on e-invoice documentation and compliance.
• Monitor recovery of long-outstanding debts (120 days and above).
• Verify accurate allocation of payments and timely bank statement updates.
• Coordinate with legal teams or external agencies to maximise recovery when needed.
• Ensure documentation for new and existing debtors is complete and properly filed.
