Job summary

TNG Digital, part of TNG Digital Group, is seeking a senior leader to drive credit and financial risk analytics for Malaysia's leading e-wallet platform. You will design risk frameworks, set appetite, and monitor portfolio health while guiding a team of analysts across fraud and credit domains.

You will translate complex analytics into strategic guidance for senior stakeholders, including the Board Risk Committee, ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations and scalable risk solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or related quantitative discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in credit risk, fraud risk, analytics, and modelling within banking, digital banking, or fintech environments.
• Hands-on proficiency in data analysis and modelling — SQL, Python or R, statistical methods, credit scoring, decision engine design, or fraud analytics.
• Working knowledge of BNM regulatory requirements for digital financial services, e-money, and fraud/credit risk management.
• Experience translating complex quantitative analysis into strategy and presenting to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of credit and financial risk frameworks aligned with BNM regulatory expectations.
• Set and enforce credit risk appetite parameters and monitor portfolio risk metrics with mitigation actions.
• Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing on credit exposures and surface tail-risk concentrations.
• Lead fraud risk strategy execution and design ML-based detection rules for real-time monitoring.
• Build and lead a high-performance analytics team and translate outputs into strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.
