Job summary

CHAGEE (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Art Director to lead visual execution for campaigns and social media content. You will work hands-on while guiding designers, ensuring brand consistency and timely delivery across all materials.

You will mentor juniors, collaborate with printers, and present creative direction to stakeholders, shaping the brand's modern tea-focused visuals.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Advertising, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in graphic design or advertising, including mentoring junior designers.
• Strong eye for visual detail and brand consistency across campaigns.
• Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop; Premiere Pro or After Effects is a plus.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, capable of explaining creative direction.

Responsibilities

• Personally execute key visuals and core design work for campaigns and brand materials.
• Lead visual execution of social media content from concept to final output.
• Mentor interns or junior designers with clear, constructive feedback.
• Brainstorm and design marketing materials including brand collaterals and digital content.
• Oversee digital design for website and social platforms.

Job description

We're looking for an Art Director to lead visual execution for CHAGEE Malaysia's campaign brand materials and social media visual content. You'll work closely with creative designers on the team while staying hands-on with key visuals yourself, a role that blends creative leadership with strong personal craft.

Responsibilities

Personally execute key visuals and core design work for campaigns and brand materials.

Lead the visual execution of social media content, from concept to final output.

Guide and mentor an intern and/or junior designers: review their work and give clear, constructive creative feedback.

Brainstorm and conceptualize design for marketing materials (online & offline), including brand collaterals, digital content, and outlet displays.

Oversee digital design across our website and social media platforms.

Plan and run smaller-scale lifestyle photoshoots independently.

Ensure all work follows brand guidelines and is delivered by the deadline.

Present and communicate design direction clearly to the team and stakeholders.

Liaise with printers and suppliers for visual/material printing.

Take on other projects as assigned by the Creative Manager / Senior Brand & Marketing Manager.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Advertising, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in graphic design, advertising, or a related field, including experience mentoring or guiding junior designers.

Strong art sense and a sharp eye for visual detail and brand consistency.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop); Premiere Pro / After Effects is a plus.

Strong presentation and communication skills, comfortable explaining creative direction to the team and stakeholders.

Strong multi-tasking skills, able to plan, manage, and prioritize across multiple projects and people.

Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Independent, confident, and proactive, comfortable working with minimal supervision.

Own transportation is preferred (for outlet visits and photoshoots).
