Job summary

Carsem (M) Sdn. Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to interface with customers on quality issues and VOC/VOP.

You will coordinate with Process Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability and other functions to drive root cause analysis and CAPA, and to support customer audits. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering/Science with 3–5 years of experience in quality systems and semiconductor manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
• Preferably 3–5 years of experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong experience in customer complaint management and structured problem solving.
• Hands‑on in 8D analysis and quality systems (ISO 9001/IATF 16949).
• Experience in semiconductor assembly and packaging is advantageous.
• Experience handling customer audits would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Act as interface with customers on quality-related complaints and VOC/VOP matters.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer quality concerns.
• Lead containment and risk assessment to minimize impact of issues.
• Communicate effectively with customers during resolution processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional RCAs and implement CAPA actions.
• Support customer audits and verify closure of findings.
