Job summary

Intel Corporation in Malaysia is seeking a Quality and Reliability System Engineer (Contract) to design, implement, and run validation strategies for CPU features and subsystems. The role involves stress testing across Windows and Linux, automation of stress flows, and tool development to support functional validation for Silicon and Platform Engineering Group (SPE).

Flexible collaboration with architecture, design, and manufacturing teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, electronics engineering or related field.
• 0–1 year of hands-on experience gained through internships, academic projects, or coursework.
• Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher).
• Strong Python programming skills; knowledge of C++ or similar OO languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute system stress experiments in Windows and Linux.
• Automate system stress flows to control voltage, temperature, and frequency.
• Create and refine test tools and scripts for validation workflows.
• Analyze workloads and tune systems to optimize stress experiments.
• Analyze stress test results and provide improvement recommendations.
• Develop and execute validation methodologies and test plans for CPUs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize CPU design and validation.
• Perform silicon debug to identify root causes and resolve failures.
• Maintain post-silicon validation infrastructure and automation.
