Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience within the construction industry in Malaysia.
• Experience in securing new business tenders targeting land/township development or civil infrastructure such as roads, earthworks, retaining structures, drainage, sewerage, water reticulation and even power distribution projects

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily overall operational performance of the company.
• Contribute to company strategy and annual business planning.
• Evaluate growth opportunities based on the trends in the construction and infrastructure industry in Malaysia.
• Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders across the construction and infrastructure industry.
• Secure new tenders targeting land/township development or infrastructure projects.
• Identify high-potential project opportunities and secure new tenders/contracts.
• Promote brand visibility and prepare business proposals.
• Demonstrate competence and responsibility for all project site performance and engagement.
• Proactively communicate on issues and needs of the project.
• Identify and report failures and improvements needed at project site.
• Manage contracts, cost estimates, feasibility studies, and subcontractors.
• Identify internal recruitment needs and growing the team when needed.
• Uphold HSE standards and quality policies in line with Malaysian regulations.
