Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced operations leader to direct manufacturing and tooling resources toward a reliable production plan, ensuring high-quality output and on-time delivery. The role focuses on reducing downtime, labor costs, and optimizing capacity across multiple facilities.

You will serve as the bridge between senior leadership and floor teams, driving employee engagement, training, and continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a management role, preferably in busbar / Auto parts / stamping or punching.
• Familiarity with metal stamping processes and busbar manufacturing.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, team-building ability.

Responsibilities

• Direct all manufacturing and tooling resources to maximize on-time delivery and quality.

Job description

• Direct all manufacturing and tooling resources on an efficient production plan to maximize on time delivery and Quality DPPM while reducing labor OT %, labor cost.
• Manage all tooling Operations to ensure limited production downtime and superior product quality while simultaneously reducing labor OT% and labor cost.
• Provide a voice between the GM and floor operations to maintain a “pulse” on the working attitude and mood on the plant floor of all employees.
• Provide the manpower and machinery resources to meet the master production schedule demand and ensure 20% upside growth capacity within all facilities. Provide rolling review of capacity and report OEE and all other operational KPI monthly.
• Be the champion of employee motivation and the face of strong management to the employee base.
• Establish monthly expense budgets for all operational departments.
• Champion EHS, 5S, team building and kaizen communication
• Build a team of solid managers beneath his/her position to become the next leaders within Company
• Implement training programs for lean understanding with the use of our current ERP system to control production standards, in conjunction with production line time study.
• Implement all new tooling / production projects effectively and efficiently including all work instructions, facility requirements and labor training issues.
• Focus on automated assembly and labor reduction initiatives.
• Drive the document control process in the Tool Room to ensure proper record of tool maker repairs and time keeping for repair burden calculations.
• Coordinate the production processes, following the production schedule issued by the Production Planner, assuring respect of the quality of the finished products as for the delivery times agreed with the customers and to maintain under control the production costs.
• To assure to keep all company facilities and equipment’s properly installed and maintained in a good order efficiently in compliance with the local laws and regulations.
• To assure respect of the HSE laws and regulations applied in production areas, in compliance with the local laws and Company regulations.
• To ensure the availability and the effectiveness of production scheduled and arrange the production properly and ensure the delivery in time.
• To review and to check the production work instructions (Standard Operating Procedures, Product Manufacturing Instructions (Batch records and Process Legal Control or PLC program) and the production records. To continuously implement them after approval to ensure that programming of the PLC system is consistent with operational and procedural requirements.
• Assure that the products are manufactured in accordance with the correct manufacturing procedures, quality control plan and safety work instructions.
• Cooperate with quality dept to investigate any quality problem, taking the corrective and preventive actions were necessary and to handle the non-conforming products in the production unit.
• Take responsibility for production safety through a daily check or supervision of the equipment and usage of the PPE by the personnel, in compliance to local governmental laws and DNC requirements.
• Be responsible for production cost budgeting, keeping them under strict control and applying, where possible, cost saving programs. To keep track, in accordance with the ERP system, the raw materials consumption and the amounts of finished products in the production areas.
• Being responsible for performance of all Logistic Dept.

Job Requirements & Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree and above, majoring in Mechanical or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years in management level, prefer with busbar / Auto parts/Stamping or punching/pressing fields and in multinational company as well
• Be very familiar with metal stamping equipment and processes /Busbar process
