Jora Malaysia is seeking a Costing Executive to manage inventory valuation, standard costing, and cost control across production and supply chains. You will support budgeting, variance analysis, and cross-functional cost optimization initiatives.
The role requires a degree in accounting or cost accounting, 2–4 years in manufacturing costing, and strong Excel skills. You will work under tight deadlines and contribute to profitability improvements.

The Costing Executive is responsible for reviewing overall costing and compliance with statutory requirements as well as meeting the deadline for all relevant submissions. Support other relevant management roles and ensure that the quality management system achieves its intended results.
Key responsibilitiesResponsible for inventory valuation and product costing
Collect data from production and develop new standard cost for manufacturing process and update standard cost on existing operating activity
Liaise with purchasing team and supply chain team for cost related information and bill of materials
Carry out variance analysis on standard cost against actual cost for on job and existing items for inaccuracies and cost control purpose
Perform detailed cost analysis associated with raw materials, production processes, finished goods, packaging and distribution to identify areas for cost reduction improvement opportunities
Review product pricing in regards to cost analysis and profitability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost optimization initiatives, such as process improvements, waste reduction, supplier negotiations, and alternative sourcing strategies
Highly involved in budget preparation, prepare monthly analysis of production costs and actual against budget
Perform PO related analysis and prepare related reports for review
Oversee the inventory process and record as well as involved in yearly and monthly count
About youDegree in Management Accounting, Cost Accounting, Accounting or relevant field
2 - 4 years of working experience in Costing in manufacturing industry
Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent
Excellent skill in Microsoft Office Excel
Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
