Job summary

Airfilter Engineering is seeking a Costing Executive to join our Kota Kemuning facility in Malaysia. You will oversee day-to-day production costing, maintain BOMs in ERP, and generate cost reports to support margins and pricing decisions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Costing, with 3–5 years of costing experience in manufacturing and strong Excel skills. ERP experience is essential, and a proactive, analytical mindset is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Costing or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of costing experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production costing activities, including generating production orders in the ERP system.
• Prepare and maintain products and projects costing, ensuring costs are accurate and up to date.
• Upload and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) in the ERP system.
• Responsible for monthly inventory closing and conduct variance analysis.
• Involved in the physical inventory checks and reconciliations inventory discrepancies.
• Generate reports and analyze costs and product margins.
• Ad hoc task as required from time to time.

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR COSTING EXECUTIVE

The position will report to the Management Accountant/HR. The place of work will be in our manufacturing company in Kota Kemuning.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day production costing activities, including generating production orders in the ERP system.
• Prepare and maintain products and projects costing, ensuring costs are accurate and up to date.

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Costing or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of related working experience in costing field, utilizing ERP accounting system with experience in manufacturing operations.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables and data analysis.
• Possess a strong working attitude, analytical skills, sense of urgency, responsible and willing to learn.
