Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Cost Manager to support large-scale industrial and advanced manufacturing facilities. You will lead cost planning, procurement, commercial management, and cost control across the project lifecycle.

The role requires 5–10 years in cost management within construction/industrial contexts, with strong CSA/MEP package experience preferred. Join a global real estate and infrastructure advisory team delivering value across complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 5–10 years’ experience in cost management within construction or industrial projects.
• Experience in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing projects preferred.
• Experience handling CSA and/or MEP packages in complex projects.
• Strong cost management, procurement, and contract administration knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead feasibility studies, estimates, and cost plans.
• Develop budgets and cash flow forecasts for projects.
• Benchmark costs and analyse market conditions for industrial facilities.
• Perform value engineering to optimise costs.
• Provide cost advice through design and construction stages.
• Develop procurement strategies and tender documentation.
• Lead tender evaluations and commercial reviews.
• Review supplier proposals for competitiveness and compliance.
• Support contract awards and governance.
• Monitor cost performance and prepare monthly reports.
• Identify cost risks and implement mitigations.
• Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to maintain cost certainty.
