Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare any related reports
Maintain and Computation of costing
Proactive analysis of variances the costing movement
Compile and analyze product related costing and reporting
Perform and coordinate monthly physical stock count for raw material and work in progress, review and verify stock report
Forecast P&L with projections of sales and production data, and handle any other ad-hoc assignments according to business needs.
Track and verify Stock Movement (SM) to ensure consistency between physical stock and system data.
Create awareness among budget and KPI owners to meet or exceed standards through a detailed understanding of the key factors.
Work side by side with external and internal auditors relevant to the costing area to ensure compliance with audit standards.
Support preparation of indirect tax submissions (e.g. SST, VAT, GST as applicable).
Assist in compiling data for corporate tax filing and liaising with external tax agents or auditors.
Ensure compliance with local taxation laws and maintain proper documentation for audit purposes.
At least 4-5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
Strong level of analytical skills, numeracy and costing understanding.
Willingness to learn and ability to meet deadlines.
Proven communications skills/ presentation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge or experience in Standard Costing will be an added advantage.
Good Interpersonal competencies, attention to details and hands on person.
Able to work independently and in the team with minimum supervision
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
A qualified Chartered Accountant is preferred (e.g. ACCA or equivalent).
Ability to speak and write fluently in Mandarin, Malay, and English. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
