Job summary

OCBC Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a data analytics professional to drive digital sales enablement and GM CSS initiatives. You will spearhead data extraction, reporting and analytics, support digitization through RPA, and ensure reporting accuracy and production readiness.

Strong degree in Finance/Data Science/CS and experience with Tableau, PowerBI, SQL are required; English is essential and Chinese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Good degree in Finance/Data Science/CS or equivalent.
• Knowledge of data analytics tools like Tableau/PowerBI/SQL.
• Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
• Chinese proficiency a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish new or revise processes to support GM CSS business strategies in Digital Sales.
• Facilitate data extraction, compilation, reporting and analytics for CSS desk.
• Enable GM's Digitization initiatives – Digitise Information, RPA and Automation with frameworks.
• Enhance processes and systems to mitigate operational risks and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Own testing activities including strategy, test cases, reviews and defect management.
• Validate system enhancements and ensure production readiness.
• Ensure continuity and enhancement of systems to meet business needs and OP.
• Collaborate with divisions to deliver new products, services and channels.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Establish new or revise processes to support GM CSS business strategies in particular Digital Sales.
• Facilitate data extraction, compilation, reporting and analytics for CSS desk.
• Enable GM's Digitization initiatives – Digitise Information, RPA and Automation, including establishing relevant frameworks and process procedures/ documentation
• Enhance processes/systems together with the business and support units to mitigate operational risks and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Own business testing activities including test strategy, test cases, execution reviews and defect management.
• Validate system enhancements and ensure production readiness.
• Ensure continuity and enhancement of system to accommodate the business needs and flow, to enable GM to achieve OP.
• Collaborate with other divisions and business partners to facilitate and execute delivery of new products, services and channels for the Bank.
• Grow adoption, transaction volume and revenues of Digital Sales channels across CSS product suite including Business Banking FX Online, CFS Online FX, FX API etc
• Support the Consumer Financial Services FX business across customer segments including Mass, Premier and Premier Private.
• Train and develop capability as a Global Markets CSS dealer, including obtaining PKMC license.
• Support CSS desk across business activities where required.
• Execute management action plans and address areas of improvement for BNM, MAS, other Regulatory and Internal Audit findings.

Requirements:

• Good degree in Finance/Data Science/Computer Science or equivalent
• Knowledge of data analytics and related applications e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, Excel VBA will be beneficial
• Banking experience/knowledge a plus
• Proficient in English.
• Chinese proficiency a plus
