Job summary

OCBC Bank in Kuala Lumpur seeks a results-driven professional to support Global Markets CSS business strategies, focusing on data extraction, reporting, analytics, and digitization initiatives including RPA and automation.

You will enable production-ready system enhancements, drive process improvements, manage testing and governance, and collaborate with divisions to deliver new products and channels for the Bank, across Digital Sales.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Data Science/Computer Science or equivalent.
• Knowledge of data analytics tools and applications (Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, Excel VBA).
• Banking experience is a plus; fluent in English; Chinese a plus.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Establish new or revise processes to support GM CSS business strategies in particular Digital Sales.
• Facilitate data extraction, compilation, reporting and analytics for CSS desk.
• Enable GM's Digitization initiatives – Digitise Information, RPA and Automation, including establishing relevant frameworks and process procedures/ documentation
• Enhance processes/systems together with the business and support units to mitigate operational risks and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Own business testing activities including test strategy, test cases, execution reviews and defect management.
• Validate system enhancements and ensure production readiness.
• Ensure continuity and enhancement of system to accommodate the business needs and flow, to enable GM to achieve OP.
• Collaborate with other divisions and business partners to facilitate and execute delivery of new products, services and channels for the Bank.
• Grow adoption, transaction volume and revenues of Digital Sales channels across CSS product suite including Business Banking FX Online, CFS Online FX, FX API etc
• Support the Consumer Financial Services FX business across customer segments including Mass, Premier and Premier Private.
• Train and develop capability as a Global Markets CSS dealer, including obtaining PKMC license.
• Support CSS desk across business activities where required.
• Execute management action plans and address areas of improvement for BNM, MAS, other Regulatory and Internal Audit findings.

Requirements:

• Good degree in Finance/Data Science/Computer Science or equivalent
• Knowledge of data analytics and related applications e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, Excel VBA will be beneficial
• Banking experience/knowledge a plus
• Proficient in English.
• Chinese proficiency a plus
• Results oriented individual and able to work well under pressure
