Job summary

RSP Architects Sdn Bhd is seeking a Corporate Communications Executive to lead PR strategies, media relations, and digital campaigns across architectural, engineering, and design sectors.

You will craft press materials, manage social channels, and collaborate with project teams to showcase projects and company milestones. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred; experience in architecture or design is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in PR, communications, marketing or related field.
• 3–5 years in PR, corporate communications, digital marketing, or social media.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.
• Strong copywriting, storytelling and content creation skills including architectural concepts.
• Experience managing social media campaigns and digital content calendars.

This is a Public Relations role focused on developing and implementing public relations strategies to enhance the firm's corporate image, reputation, and market presence within the architecture, engineering, construction, property development, or design industry.

Key responsibilities

Develop and implement public relations strategies to enhance the firm's corporate image, reputation, and market presence

Prepare press releases, media statements, project features, corporate announcements, speeches, newsletters, articles, and other communication materials

Promote the firm's architectural projects, design concepts, awards, achievements, and milestones through media and digital platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other relevant digital channels

Build and maintain strong relationships with media representatives, industry partners, professional bodies, clients, and stakeholders

Develop and execute social media strategies, content calendars, and campaigns to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, and online visibility

Create, curate, and publish engaging content, including project showcases, architectural stories, company updates, event coverage, behind-the-scenes content, and industry insights

Manage and update the company website with current project information, news, announcements, and corporate updates

Collaborate with architects and project teams to gather project information, photographs, and technical details for publicity and marketing purposes

Assist with and coordinate corporate events, exhibitions, award submissions, networking activities, and employee engagement programmes

Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for brand enhancement

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Corporate Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related discipline

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, digital marketing, social media management, or related fields

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Strong copywriting, storytelling, and content creation skills, with the ability to communicate architectural concepts effectively

Proven experience in managing social media platforms, digital campaigns, content planning, and online engagement

Creative, proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple projects within deadlines

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with media, clients, consultants, and industry stakeholders

Good presentation, negotiation, and analytic skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with website content management systems and social media management tools

Experience in the architecture, engineering, construction, property development, or design industry is an added advantage
