Job summary

Darryryl, Edward & Co. invites a law student or law graduate to join our team for a six-month internship. You will work closely with our lawyers on corporate and commercial matters, drafting and reviewing contracts, and supporting due diligence and meetings.

Ideal candidates have excellent English communication skills, attention to detail, and a keen interest in developing practical legal skills in a professional setting in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• Law student or law graduate (pending chambering/admission).
• Excellent written and spoken English; Mandarin advantageous but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills.
• Interest in corporate and commercial legal work.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing contractual and legal documentation.
• Undertake legal research and prepare summaries or reports on corporate and commercial law.
• Support senior lawyers in meetings, due diligence, and transactional work.
• Maintain and update client files, correspondence, and matter status trackers.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties under supervision.
