IOI Properties Group Berhad is a leading property developer with a strong presence in Penang and other regions. The Manager/Assistant Manager – Contracts (QS) will oversee pre-tender estimates, tender processes, and contract administration in line with ISO 9001 procedures, while coordinating with design and project meetings.

The role requires 5–7 years of contracts management experience, a degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, and a proactive, detail-oriented team player

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• 5-7 years' relevant experience in contracts management.
• Ability to handle and run whole contract administration and development process
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• A good team player and pro-active person with attention to details.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and check preliminary costing during design stage and feasibility studies.
• Prepare and check pre-tender estimates and monitor tender process.
• Attend design meetings and project meetings whenever necessary.
• Conduct tender interviews/clarification, evaluate tender reports, prepare Contract Award Proposal and Letter of Award for Management approval.
• Attend to site valuations, site measurements for progress claims and payment certifications.
• Verify variation orders, cost control & final accounts and to ensure all contracts administration in compliance with ISO 9001 procedures.
• Evaluate quotations and costing for building services works/rectification works as and when required.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and compare prices, specifications, and terms to identify the most suitable option.
• Negotiate with suppliers based on the comparison results to ensure the company secures the best deal.
