Possess a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Have a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in quantity surveying within the construction or building industry.
Demonstrate proficiency in quantity surveying practices, cost estimation, and budget management.
Exhibit strong skills in contract negotiation, risk management, and value engineering.
Communicate fluently in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards in Kuala Lumpur.

Prepare and administer contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating terms and conditions with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Evaluate and manage project risks, identifying potential cost overruns, delays, and other issues, and developing mitigation strategies.
Conduct value engineering exercises to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or functionality.
Prepare and submit progress claims, variations, and final accounts, ensuring accurate documentation and timely payment.
Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor and report on project financial performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders on cost status, forecasts, and potential risks.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice in all aspects of quantity surveying.
