Job summary

Hong Leong Bank Berhad is seeking a business analyst to enhance or maintain existing applications across the bank and affiliates. You will provide development support and training for all applications as required and handle other tasks aligned with delivering computing services to Hong Leong Bank.

The role emphasizes scoping business requirements, maintaining compliance with company rules, ensuring best practices, and delivering high-quality, sign-off ready solutions for go-live across the bank

• Maintain defined company rules across processes and provide in-depth technical expertise to ensure quality deliverables.
• Ensure best practices and confirm customization documents are essential for go-live and signed off by users.
• Analyze business issues and recommend best practices and technical solutions to complex problems.
• Prepare and plan UAT prior to execution; develop UAT strategy and approach paper per testing methodology.
• Prepare and review Business Scenarios and test scripting aligned with requirements.
• Conduct review sessions with users for acceptance and sign-off.
• Conduct UAT, regression tests and operational readiness tests; document results for review and sign-off.

• To provide enhancement or maintenance services to all existing application systems used within Hong Leong Bank or Hong Leong Bank's Affiliates.


• To provide development support and training services for all applications as and when required by Hong Leong Bank.


• Other work as mutually agreed and consistent with provision of computing services to Hong Leong Bank.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To conduct business requirements scoping with the business users and to develop the Business Requirements for sign off;


• To at least maintain the defined company's rules across all processes and to provide in depth technical expertise to ensure quality deliverable.


• Ensure best practices are in place and ensure all customization documents are of absolutely \"must have\" for go-live and be signed off by users.


• Analyze business issues and recommends best practices and technical expertise and solves complex problems by applying innovative solutions.


• UAT preparation and planning prior to UAT execution; i.e.to develop UAT strategy and approach paper as accordance to the proper testing methodology.


• To prepare and review Business Scenario and test scripting in ensuring they are in line with the business requirements.


• To conduct the review sessions with the users to ensure acceptance and signed off by users.


• To conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Test and Operation Readiness Test. To document test results for user review and obtain sign off.
