Job summary

SBM Offshore N.V. is seeking an experienced Contract Manager in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to provide contract management support for EPCI and related projects. The role involves managing main contracts, ensuring compliance, and maintaining auditability throughout the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will have 5–10 years in contract management, strong negotiation skills, and broad experience with sales and lease contracts. Degree or MBA in a relevant field is required.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in contract management including EPCI, subcontract management.
• Broad experience in sales and lease contracts, in executing contract negotiation.
• Experience of project execution interface.

Responsibilities

• You manage Main Contracts.
• You manage and expedite contract deliverables and requirements.
• You monitor performance and compliance with contractual requirements, expedite disciplines where necessary, and highlight potential areas of concern.
• You ensure commercial and contractual awareness across the Project Team throughout the life of the project.
• You achieve and maintain total auditability of all commercial and contractual dealings, including clear record-keeping and regular commercial reporting.
• You provide Contract Feedback during the life of the project.
• You ensure Guarantee period management.

Purpose

• The Contract Manager provides Contract Management support and execution for less complex projects or support Project or Senior CMs for Major projects or for the Group Contract Management department.
