Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel invites an experienced professional to join as a Contract Logistics Distribution Solutions Engineer in Malaysia. You will lead and design distribution solutions, collaborate with customers and internal teams, and drive value through data-driven methods and best practices across our contract logistics services.

You will engage with tender processes, present compelling solutions, and build strong partnerships with key vendors to optimize costs and lead times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in transportation, logistics, or contract logistics, with data-driven solution design, pricing and realization.
Experience within a 3PL environment, supporting customer solutions, focusing on transportation or distribution.

Responsibilities

To support with customer tender proposals + develop + drive compelling distribution solutions.
To drive innovation, identifying new concepts + technology while also building on existing best practices.
To present solutions with confidence to our customers as a key part of the tendering process.
To be part of the management team developing + designing strategic solutions for our customer, challenging the status quo + guiding customers constructively where needed.
To develop strong partnerships with key vendors to optimize costing + lead times.
To leverage available tools + systems whilst ensuring a high standard of compliance at all times.
