Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel in Malaysia is hiring a National Contract Logistics IT Specialist to deliver warehouse and transport management solutions. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and configure WMS and surrounding apps to align with operations.

You will map interfaces and reports, train superusers, and manage change requests from customers to go-live. This role emphasizes hands-on WMS experience in Contract Logistics, with cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with WMS in Contract Logistics or warehousing.
• Strong understanding of Contract Logistics (warehousing and distribution).
• Experience supporting tenders, solution design, and system rollouts.
• Hands-on WMS configuration, testing, user training, and go-live support.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders (operations, commercial, customers, IT).

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze system solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Study and prepare information system design documents to ensure they can be implemented.
• Configure WMS/TMS and surrounding applications to align customer requirements with our operations.
• Deliver logical mapping for interface and report development.
• Train superusers on configuration techniques and new/existing functionalities.
• Manage change requests including discussion with customers, new requirements review, reconfiguration, testing, training and go-live support.
• Provide consultation and support on new implementations/existing projects.

How you create impact

Your primary objective is to provide professional warehouse management solutions (WMS) +/or transport management solutions (TMS). You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives.
