Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting, finance or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in general ledger, accounting or finance.
• Good understanding of double-entry accounting and month-end closing.
• Experience in reconciliation and preparation of financial schedules.

Responsibilities

• Managing and reviewing General Ledger (GL) transactions
• Preparing and posting journal entries
• Performing balance sheet and GL reconciliations
• Supporting month-end closing activities
• Reviewing accounts and identifying outstanding or unreconciled items
• Assisting with financial reporting and schedules
• Supporting audit, tax and documentation requirements where necessary
• Investigating accounting discrepancies and recommending corrective actions
• Working closely with Finance team members to clear outstanding accounting matters
• Supporting other finance improvement and clean-up activities during the contract period
