Job summary

Ditrolic Energy Group in Malaysia seeks aContract Administrator with 3–8 years of experience in EPC contracts and solar PV projects. You will review EPC/subcontract documents, ensure compliance, and monitor milestones and payments across projects in the Asia-Pacific region.

Ideal candidates understand FIDIC contracts, have strong negotiation skills, and can manage claims, variations, and cost control within EPC environments. This role is based in Malaysia with office presence required.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in contract administration within construction / solar PV projects (utility-scale or commercial & industrial).
• Experience in EPC environments and familiarity with EPC contracts.
• Knowledge of FIDIC Red/Yellow/Silver Book and subcontract agreements.
• Experience handling claims, variations, and project commercial management.

Responsibilities

• Contract Administration: review, interpret, and administer EPC, subcontract, and supplier contracts.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, technical specifications, and commercial terms.
• Monitor milestones, deliverables, and contractual deadlines.
• Maintain contract documentation and correspondence records.
• Assist in reviewing tender documents, specifications, and commercial terms.
• Identify contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Support bid clarifications and negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Evaluate bank guarantees, performance bonds, and insurance requirements.
• Claims & Variations Management: manage variation orders, change requests, and EOT submissions.
• Prepare and assess claims related to delay, disruption, liquidated damages, and backcharges.
• Liaise with project teams to gather supporting documentation for claims.
• Participate in dispute resolution processes when required.
• Commercial & Cost Control: monitor project cost exposure and contractual entitlements.
• Review progress payment applications and certification.
• Assess subcontractor invoices and ensure contractual compliance.
• Support recovery of liquidated damages and enforcement of contract provisions where necessary.

About the Role

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Required Skills

• 3–8 years of experience in contract administration within:
• Construction / Solar PV projects (utility-scale or commercial & industrial)
• Industrial, infrastructure, or EPC environments
• Familiarity with EPC contracts, FIDIC (Red/Yellow/Silver Book), and subcontract agreements.
• Experience in handling claims, variations, and project commercial management

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of solar project components (modules, inverters, transformers, SCADA, etc.).
• Knowledge of performance guarantees, LD clauses, bank guarantees, and insurance requirements.
• Proficiency in contract law principles and dispute resolution processes.
