Job summary

Mutu Case is seeking a content creator to bring the brand to life across TikTok, Instagram, and other channels. You will ideate, shoot, edit, and publish engaging content that resonates with audiences and supports campaigns and product launches.

Collaborating with the Creative Director and content team, you will plan calendars, stay on trend, and refine content through feedback and data insights. This role requires a proactive, camera-ready individual with strong storytelling skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of content creation or social media experience.
• Proficiency with CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Comfortable on camera and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram trends.
• Excellent English and Bahasa Malaysia communication.

Responsibilities

• Ideate, shoot, edit, and publish content for TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms, including short-form videos, product showcases, behind-the-scenes content, and trend-based content.
• Plan weekly and monthly content calendars with Creative Director.
• Stay on top of trending sounds and adapt to Mutu's brand voice.
• Edit videos/photos using CapCut and Premiere Pro for polished content.
• Appear in content when needed (demos, unboxings, etc.).
• Respond to comments and engage with the Mutu community to boost reach.
• Monitor performance and adjust strategy based on data.

This role focuses on creating content that brings Mutu's brand to life across TikTok, Instagram, and other social platforms. You will work closely with the Creative Director and content team to produce videos, photos, and other content that connects with the audience and drives engagement. You will be responsible for ideating, shooting, editing, and publishing content that reflects Mutu's identity.

Key responsibilities:

Ideate, shoot, edit, and publish content for TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms, including short-form videos, product showcases, behind-the-scenes content, and trend-based content

Work with the Creative Director and content team to plan weekly and monthly content calendars and contribute ideas that align with campaigns, product launches, and brand moments

Stay on top of trending sounds, formats, and challenges on TikTok and Instagram, and adapt trends to fit Mutu's brand voice and products

Edit videos and photos using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar to ensure content is polished, on-brand, and optimised for each platform

Appear in content when needed, whether it's product demos, unboxings, or trend-based videos

Respond to comments and engage with the community on Mutu's social platforms to build connection and increase reach

Keep an eye on how content performs, learn what works, and adjust your approach based on data and feedback

Requirements:

1 to 2 years of experience in content creation, social media, or a related field (fresh graduates with a strong portfolio may be considered)

Proficiency in video editing tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar

Comfortable being on camera and creating content in a fast-paced environment

Good understanding of TikTok and Instagram trends, formats, and best practices

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple content pieces at once

A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to work independently

Strong written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia

A good eye for visuals, storytelling, and what resonates with audiences

Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, Design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
