The role requires proven experience in video production, strong on-camera presence, and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and OBS. You will collaborate with the team, manage content calendars, and stay current with digital trends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as content creator or live host in marketing/digital comms.
• Video production, editing and multimedia content creation expertise.
• Strong on-camera presence with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, OBS or similar tools.
• Experience managing social channels and platform-specific requirements.
• Ability to create engaging content that drives viewer engagement.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Malay or others is a plus.
• Understanding analytics to interpret content performance data.

About the role

YEG Academy (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a dynamic and creative Content Creator / Live Host to join our marketing and communications team. This is a full-time position based in Kota Damansara, Selangor, where you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering engaging content that drives brand awareness and audience engagement across our digital platforms. As a Content Creator / Live Host, you will be at the forefront of our digital strategy, creating compelling narratives and hosting interactive live sessions that resonate with our target audience and support our broader business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Create, plan, and produce high-quality video and multimedia content tailored to various digital platforms including social media, YouTube, and streaming channels
• Host and conduct engaging live streaming sessions, webinars, and virtual events with confidence and professionalism
• Develop creative concepts and content calendars that align with brand messaging and marketing campaigns
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content supports broader promotional initiatives and business goals
• Engage with audiences during live sessions, responding to comments and fostering community interaction
• Edit and optimise content for maximum reach, engagement, and platform-specific requirements
• Analyse content performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve engagement and viewership
• Stay current with digital trends, platform algorithms, and best practices in content creation and live hosting
• Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all content produced

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a content creator, live host, or similar role, preferably within marketing, media, or digital communications
• Demonstrated expertise in video production, editing, and multimedia content creation
• Strong on-camera presence with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency with content creation tools and software such as Adobe Creative Suite, OBS, or similar platforms
• Experience managing social media channels and understanding of platform-specific content requirements
• Ability to create engaging content that resonates with target audiences and drives viewer engagement
• Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Creative thinking and the ability to develop original concepts and ideas
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Malay or other languages is advantageous
• Understanding of analytics and the ability to interpret content performance data
• Preferred: Experience with live streaming platforms, event hosting, or influencer marketing
