About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative Social Content Creator to join our Marketing & Communications team at XCORE Health & Fitness SDN BHD. This is a full-time position based in Kota Damansara, Selangor. As Social Content Creator, you will be the creative voice behind our brand's social media presence, responsible for developing and executing engaging content strategies across multiple platforms. This role is critical to building our online community, increasing brand awareness, and driving member engagement through compelling storytelling and visually captivating content that resonates with our target audience.

Key responsibilities

• Create, plan and produce high-quality social media content including images, videos, graphics, and copy tailored to various platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
• Develop and implement a cohesive content calendar aligned with brand objectives, marketing campaigns, and fitness trends
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all social media channels
• Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and user-generated content to foster authentic connections with members
• Monitor social media analytics and performance metrics to evaluate content effectiveness and provide insights for continuous improvement
• Stay up-to-date with current social media trends, platform algorithm changes, and digital marketing best practices
• Coordinate with fitness professionals, members, and internal stakeholders to feature success stories, testimonials, and member spotlights
• Assist in the creation of promotional content for classes, events, memberships, and special offers
• Support the development of brand partnerships and influencer collaborations to expand reach and credibility
• Maintain organised file management and documentation of all content created and published

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator or similar role within the fitness, wellness, or health and fitness industry (2+ years preferred)
• Proficiency in content creation tools and software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or equivalent design and video editing software
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms, with demonstrated ability to create platform-specific content that maximises engagement and reach
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for storytelling and brand voice consistency
• Ability to work creatively under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in photography and videography, including mobile filming and basic video production
• Solid understanding of digital marketing principles and social media analytics tools (Google Analytics, platform insights, Meta Business Suite, etc.)
• Experience with content scheduling tools and social media management platforms
• Knowledge of current fitness trends, wellness culture, and lifestyle content that appeals to health-conscious audiences
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage content calendars and brand guidelines
• Passion for health, fitness, and wellness with genuine enthusiasm for the industry
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and take constructive feedback
