Job summary

RIWEI Marketing seeks a versatile Content Creator cum Live Host to produce engaging short-form videos across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Lemon8. The role also covers live hosting as backup during peak hours, with a focus on driving brand visibility and e-commerce conversions.

You will manage content calendars, stay on trend, edit videos (CapCut/InShot), and collaborate with marketing on campaigns. Remote-friendly with hybrid work on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in content creation and/or live hosting preferred.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, and Lemon8 content styles and algorithms.
• Comfortable and confident on camera, with good communication in Bahasa Malaysia and/or English.
• Basic video editing skills (CapCut, InShot, or similar).
• Creative, trend-savvy, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan, film, edit, and publish short-form video content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Lemon8.
• Stay on top of platform trends, sounds, formats, and features to keep content fresh and relevant.
• Manage a content calendar and posting schedule across all platforms.
• Optimize content for shoppable features to drive video-to-purchase conversions.
• Engage with followers and comments to build community and grow brand presence.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, product launches, and promotions.
• Track and report content performance and adjust strategy accordingly.
• Host live-selling sessions on Shopee Live/TikTok Live as backup when needed.
• Coordinate with the hosting roster/schedule to ensure coverage.

RIWEI Marketing is a Malaysian marketing company managing the online growth of multiple partner brands across e-commerce and social media platforms. We're growing our in-house content and live commerce team.

About the Role

We're looking for a versatile, camera-confident individual to join us full-time as a Content Creator cum Live Host. This role is primarily focused on content creation across social media platforms, with live hosting as a backup coverage duty - stepping in to host live sessions (typically during lunch-hour peak traffic) when part-time live hosts are unavailable.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation (Primary Focus)

• Plan, film, edit, and publish short-form video content across TikTok, Instagram (Reels/Feed), Facebook, and Lemon8
• Stay on top of platform trends, sounds, formats, and features to keep content fresh and relevant
• Manage a consistent content calendar and posting schedule across all platforms
• Optimize content for shoppable features (e.g. TikTok Shop's yellow bag/cart link) to drive video-to-purchase conversions
• Engage with followers and comments to build community and grow brand presence
• Collaborate with the marketing team on campaign themes, product launches, and promotions
• Track and report content performance (views, engagement rate, shares, conversion) and adjust strategy accordingly

Live Hosting (Coverage Duty)

• Host live-selling sessions on Shopee Live/TikTok Live as backup when part-time live hosts are unavailable - typically during lunch-hour high-traffic slots
• Present products confidently and drive sales during live sessions
• Coordinate with the live hosting roster/schedule to ensure sessions are covered

Requirements

• Prior experience in content creation and/or live hosting preferred
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, and Lemon8 content styles and algorithms
• Comfortable and confident on camera, with good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and/or English
• Basic video editing skills (CapCut, InShot, or similar)
• Creative, trend-savvy, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Own smartphone with good camera quality

Compensation

• Basic Salary: RM3,000
• Live Hosting Commission: based on GMV generated during live sessions covered - up to 8%
• Content Creator Commission: based on content engagement and video-to-purchase conversion (yellow bag/cart clicks) - up to RM300
• Claims: Meal claim up to RM60, Parking claim up to RM100, Public transport claim up to RM50
• Hybrid Work Arrangement: Work-from-home every Wednesday and Saturday
• Public Holidays: Work-from-home on public holidays not observed by the company
• Annual Increment: Based on job performance and title progression
