Job summary

GULA CAKERY SDN. BHD. seeks a creative Content Specialist to develop videos, social media content and website updates, driving engagement and brand presence.

You will plan, shoot, and edit content in-house, collaborate with Marketing, Graphic Design and Customer Service, and manage campaigns across platforms. Weekend/holiday flexibility and strong communication are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Develop compelling and creative content for digital platforms including social media channels and websites
• Generate innovative ideas to improve content quality and engagement
• Research industry topics to ensure accuracy and relevance
• Plan, create, and schedule social media posts aligned with company goals
• Monitor platforms, respond to comments/messages, engage with followers
• Stay updated on social media trends and integrate into strategy
• Analyze analytics to identify trends and opportunities
• Prepare KPI reports and content metrics
• Create and edit video and graphics content meeting deadlines
• Collaborate with Marketing, Graphic Design and Customer Service teams
• Produce in-house photo-shoots and product filming
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Job description

Develop compelling and creative content for digital platforms, including but not limited to social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc.), and website updates, by producing videos, video animation and editing.

Generate innovative ideas to consistently improve content quality and drive engagement.

Conduct thorough research on relevant industry topics to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

Plan, create, and schedule social media posts that align with the company's objectives and target audience.

Monitor social media platforms, respond to comments and direct messages promptly, and engage with followers to build meaningful connections.

Stay up-to-date of emerging social media trends and incorporate them into the company's social media strategy.

Monitor and analyze social media and website analytics regularly to identify trends, growth opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Prepare reports that showcase key performance indicators (KPIs), social media insights, and content metrics to measure the effectiveness of various campaigns.

Create, shoot and edit video and graphics contents and ensuring all deadlines are met while producing the highest quality.

Collaborate with Marketing, Graphic Designer and Customer Service Team in developing and implementing cohesive campaigns.

Able to produce in-house production including photo-shoot and filming of products.

Any ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirement:

Degree / Diploma in related filed.

Work experience in creative work role, ideally within the F&B industry is preferred.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Demonstrate ability to multitask and manage inquiries efficiently.

Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and holidays.

A team player with a positive attitude towards her/his work.
