Job summary

Allianz Malaysia seeks a hands-on marketing intern to support the Consumer Marketing team in planning, coordinating, and executing integrated campaigns, brand activations, and social media initiatives.

You will gain exposure to content development, campaign management, event execution, marketing analytics, and brand governance while contributing to multiple channels and ensuring brand consistency.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, Advertising, Digital Marketing, or related fields.
• Able to commit for a minimum of three to six months.
• Fluent in English and Malay; Chinese is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), CapCut, or similar content creation tools is an advantage.
• Familiarity with today’s marketing and social media trends, consumer behaviour, social media platforms, and tools
• Proficient in the use of AI tools such as ChatGPT for tasks simplification

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns and brand initiatives across multiple channels.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, agencies, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
• Review and proofread marketing content to ensure brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Support the creation and adaptation of marketing collateral, including digital assets, presentations, and promotional materials.
• Assist in developing social media content and short‑form videos aligned with current trends.
• Support event and activation planning, logistics, and on‑ground execution.
• Monitor campaign performance and compile reports and insights.
• Conduct competitor and market research to identify consumer trends and opportunities.
• Assist with ad‑hoc administrative and coordination tasks related to marketing projects.
• Undertake ad‑hoc individual tasks as assigned.
