Job summary

Arup is seeking a Security Systems Lead to manage end‑to‑end delivery of integrated electronic security solutions for high‑profile projects in Southeast Asia. You will design CCTV, access control, perimeter security and screening systems, and produce documentation such as schematics and device schedules.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, standards compliance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Security, Computer Science, Electronics, or Engineering with proven experience in integrated electronic security systems design.
  • Strong technical knowledge of security technologies, networking, electrical systems, systems integration, and cyber/information security principles.
  • Experience delivering projects in aviation, critical infrastructure, data centres, transportation, healthcare or similar environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for major integrated electronic security systems from requirements gathering to operational planning.
  • Design and deliver integrated security solutions across CCTV, access control, perimeter intrusion detection, screening and entrance systems.
  • Produce high‑quality technical documentation including specifications, reports, schematics, device schedules, calculations and 2D/3D layouts.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
  • Support project delivery across South-East Asia ensuring compliance with standards and safety practices.

The Opportunity
  • Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for major integrated electronic security systems, from requirements gathering and concept development through to detailed design, tendering, construction support, and operational planning.
  • Design and deliver integrated security solutions across technologies including CCTV, access control, perimeter intrusion detection, security screening, entrance control systems, and associated infrastructure.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation including specifications, reports, schematics, device schedules, calculations, and 2D/3D design layouts.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing expert advice and delivering high-quality outcomes that meet client requirements.
  • Support project delivery across South-East Asia, ensuring compliance with industry standards, health and safety requirements, and best-practice engineering methodologies.

Is this role right for you?
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Security, Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering, or a related discipline, together with proven experience in integrated electronic security systems design and delivery.
  • Strong technical knowledge of security technologies, networking, electrical systems, systems integration, and a foundational understanding of cyber and information security principles.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering projects within sectors such as aviation, critical infrastructure, data centres, transportation, healthcare, or similar complex environments.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate, and professional technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, combined with a proactive, collaborative mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to personal and professional development.
