Job summary

Red Hat Consulting Malaysia is seeking a Consultant to drive middleware design and application projects for ASEAN customers. You will lead architecture reviews, design integration patterns, and guide teams through PoCs, workshops, and customer engagements across government, enterprise, and service providers.

The role emphasizes open-source practices and cloud-native solutions. You will collaborate with architects and delivery teams to translate business goals into scalable middleware

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Red Hat middleware products.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift for middleware workloads.
• Experience designing and implementing middleware architectures and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and observability practices.
• Knowledge of banking/telecom/public sector/manufacturing domains is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation for application projects aligning with business goals and IT strategy.
• Design, review, and validate middleware architectures and integration patterns.
• Collaborate with sales, product engineering and customer success to shape solutions.
• Lead technical workshops, assessments, and PoCs for middleware/integration.
• Advocate open-source approaches and Red Hat best practices for middleware and DevOps pipelines.
