Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Diploma-qualified Civil Engineer with 2–3 years of site experience to supervise building projects. You will read drawings, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality on site at Banting, Selangor or Kuala Nerus, Terengganu.

This role emphasizes strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to interpret specifications, with allowances and leave as part of benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in building construction projects; earthwork experience is a plus.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of level survey is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of site supervision, construction methods and site coordination.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to be based at project sites in Banting, Selangor or Kuala Nerus, Terengganu.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities.
• Monitor work progress to ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants and the main contractor.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare daily site reports and attend site meetings.
• Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and company procedures.
