Job summary

Oriental Sunrise Engineering Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Safety Supervisor to support on-site safety supervision tasks at construction sites.

You will report to the SHO/Safety Manager and assist the safety department to ensure safe operations and regulatory compliance. Key duties include inspecting and rectifying unsafe conditions, correcting unsafe practices, coordinating with subcontractors' safety supervisors, and maintaining DOSH/DOE/BOMBA compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a relevant field required.
• Certified and valid Yellow Book Holder.
• Minimum 2 years of safety-related experience in construction.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin preferred.
• Able to work 6 days weekly on site.
• Malaysian local candidate only.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and rectify unsafe conditions at the construction site.
• Correct any unsafe practices observed on site.
• Check sub-contractors' work for compliance with applicable laws and regs.
• Liaise with contractor's safety supervisors regarding sub-contractor safety.
• Advise and implement safety compliance and continuous improvement as required.
• Regularly review and update safety policies and procedures.
• Manage administration of legal documentation and monitor compliance with DOSH/DOE/BOMBA and related bodies.
• Perform other duties as required by the company.
