Job summary

JICORE GROUP INCORPORATED (M) SDN BHD in Manjung District, Perak, seeks an experienced Site Safety Supervisor to oversee safety and health at the construction site. You will conduct daily safety inspections, identify hazards, and enforce DOSH/OSH regulations, promoting safe working practices among workers and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or related field.
• SPM/PT3 equivalent or related foundational qualifications.
• Accredited SSS training completed.
• SSS training from NIOSH Malaysia or MBAM preferred.
• Registered SSS / Yellow Book with DOSH.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections of work areas, equipment and PPE.
• Conduct site walk-throughs and safety audits to identify hazards and risks.
• Identify workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Enforce DOSH and OSH regulations on the site.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety orientations for workers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate emergency procedures and safety drills.
• Investigate accidents and near misses; maintain safety logs and reports.
• Ensure proper use of tools, machinery, and PPE; stop unsafe work.
