Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a construction safety supervisor to monitor daily site activities and ensure safety compliance. The role requires 1–2 years of experience and relevant certifications, including SSS (NIOSH) and Yellow Book registered with DOSH.

Diploma or equivalent is required, with knowledge of plumbing/civil/structural works considered an advantage. Candidates must be able to work independently on site with own transport and be willing to travel to Klang Valley and Negeri Sembilan.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have valid SSS certification (NIOSH).
• Must have Yellow Book registered with DOSH.
• 1–2 years experience in construction safety supervision.
• Knowledge in plumbing/civil/structural works is an advantage.
• Able to work independently on site.
• Own transport & valid driving license.
• Willing to travel to Klang Valley & Negeri Sembilan.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily site activities and ensure safety compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and identify unsafe conditions.
• Ensure PPE compliance at all times.
• Prepare safety reports and documentation.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
• Assist in implementing safety policies and emergency response plans.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports.
• Coordinate with site teams and authorities.
• Ensure permits and safety requirements are in place before work starts.
• Monitor high-risk activities (lifting, excavation, confined space, etc.).
• Ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Attend site meetings and provide safety input.
• Ensure compliance with DOSH requirements.
