Job summary

Mindteck Software Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Safety Site Supervisor to oversee workplace health and safety across construction site operations in Malaysia. You will enforce safety requirements, conduct inspections, manage risks and investigate incidents to ensure compliance with Malaysian OSH regulations.

The role includes toolbox talks, inductions, and coordination with project teams, subcontractors, and regulators to maintain safe work practices and continuous safety improvements on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in construction site safety supervision or OSH.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian OSH requirements and construction safety practices.
• DOSH-recognised Yellow Book certification or equivalent safety competency.
• Excellent communication, leadership, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with workers, subcontractors, management and external parties.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce site safety policies, procedures, risk controls and safe work practices.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits and hazard assessments.
• Identify unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions and briefings for workers and subcontractors.
• Monitor PPE, permits, risk assessments and safe work compliance.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near-misses with corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records including inspections, training and risk assessments.
• Liaise with Project Managers, site engineers, subcontractors and regulators.
• Support emergency preparedness, drills and safety audits.
• Monitor safety performance and recommend improvements.
