Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Malaysia seeks an experienced ELV Project Manager to lead end-to-end ELV scopes within data center construction or upgrade projects. You will develop schedules, manage budgets, and coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely execution.

The role requires 5–8 years in ELV project management in data center or critical infrastructure environments, with a proven track record of large-scale ELV installations and system integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 - 8 years of experience in ELV project management, preferably within data center, critical infrastructure, or industrial environments.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale ELV installations and system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management of ELV scopes within data center construction or upgrade projects.
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution.
• Prepare project documentation including progress reports, method statements, risk assessments, and handover packages.
• Oversee design reviews, system integration, and compliance for all ELV systems (BMS, CCTV, ACS, FAS, PA, structured cabling, monitoring systems).
• Ensure adherence to international and local data center standards (e.g., TIA-942, Uptime Institute, ISO/IEC standards).
• Evaluate technical submissions, shop drawings, and engineering designs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site during installation and commissioning.
• Ensure all ELV installations meet regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and acceptance tests (FAT, SAT, IST).
• Lead risk assessments and enforce compliance with HSE policies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for ELV-related project matters.
• Manage client expectations and provide technical guidance throughout project phases.
• Liaise with procurement teams for vendor evaluation, material selection, and technical approvals.
