Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring a Civil Engineer / Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects from planning to delivery. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and at least 2 years of on-site supervision or site engineering experience.

You will read drawings, coordinate with contractors and consultants, and ensure quality, timeline, and safety adherence. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential; knowledge of project management tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction site supervision or site engineering.
• Strong knowledge of project planning and coordination.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good organisational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of project management tools is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with contractors and consultants.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Able to manage project execution, coordination, and timeline.
• Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and consultants for smooth project execution.
• Track project progress, timelines, and budgets.
• Prepare and maintain project reports, schedules, and documentation.
• Identify potential delays or issues and recommend appropriate course of action.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Assist Project Manager with daily planning, procurement, material coordination, and resource planning.
