Job summary

Kamal Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Scheduler to create and maintain baseline, master, and look-ahead schedules for construction projects in Pekan, Pahang. You will load resources, monitor progress, and produce dashboards for management and stakeholders.

You will identify schedule variances, analyze delays, and propose recovery plans while coordinating with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and procurement teams on manpower and material delivery. On-site role based in Pekan.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 4–5 years of experience in construction planning, scheduling, or controls.
• Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and MS Office (Excel).

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain baseline, master, and look-ahead schedules with resource loading and contract requirements.
• Monitor daily/weekly progress against plans.
• Generate progress reports, S-curves, manpower histograms, dashboards for management.
• Identify schedule variances and monitor critical path activities.
• Analyze delays and propose recovery or catch-up plans.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and procurement to align manpower, materials, and sequences.
• Prepare and manage EOT submissions and delay documentation.
