Job summary

Ditrolic Energy, headquartered in Malaysia, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead on-site construction activities for Perak projects. You will plan, schedule, coordinate, and ensure safety and design compliance across all phases.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in construction/EPCC or solar, plus a Civil & Structural degree and strong project/contract management skills. This on-site role offers growth within an EPC framework.

Qualifications

• Significant experience at a senior level in project management; 8–10 years in relevant fields.
• Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or related field.
• Construction/EPCC/solar experience preferred.
• Strong project and contract management and excellent organizational skills; ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• PM/Planning skills and experience; understanding of performance management frameworks and tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site construction works, materials and document management.
• Lead the team in planning, scheduling, conduction and coordinating the works.
• Ensure on-site construction works comply with local regulations and design requirements, especially safety requirements.
• Ensure project requirements documented and agreed to meet objectives.
• Ensure resources have correct toolsets and processes; staff trained and equipped.
• Prepare reports and technical documents for solar design/feasibility findings.
• Evaluate feasibility of solar installation projects based on plans.
• Attend pre-construction or tender meetings.
• Develop and implement strategies to align project direction with goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Duties and responsibilities

• Manage on-site construction works, materials and document management.
• Lead the team in planning, scheduling, conduction and coordinating the works.
• Ensure that on-site construction works are carried out according to local regulations and design requirements, especially safety requirements.
• Ensure project have requirements documented and agreed to ensure that project activity meet agreed project objectives.
• To ensure project resources have the correct toolsets and processes in place and that all relevant staff are trained and equipped to deliver successfully.
• Prepare reports and technical documents to present solar design/ feasibility finding.
• Evaluate the economic, engineering, or pragmatic feasibility of solar installation projects based on electrical or architectural plans on existing or new construction buildings
• Attend pre-construction meetings and/or tender meetings
• Develop and implement strategies as per the planned schedule in order to align project direction with the strategy, goals and commitments.
• To perform any other duties assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

Skills and Qualifications

• Significant experience at a senior level in project management with 8-10 years of working experience.
• Must be Degree in Civil & Structural
• Only from construction background or EPCC or solar experience
• Strong project and contract management and excellent organizational skills are fundamental, as is the ability to liaise with people at all levels of the organization.

• Good understanding of performance management framework and tools in the delivery of business objectives.
