Job summary

Inspire QAS Sdn Bhd, a Malaysia-based product certification body, seeks a Compliance Officer to handle client inquiries and certification applications. Maintain impartial and accurate records while ensuring conformity to ISO/IEC 17065 requirements.

Responsibilities include document evaluation, filing, and preparing certification reports. Fresh graduates with engineering or construction backgrounds are welcome to apply and participate in IQAS training and development programs.

Inspire QAS Sdn. Bhd. is an independent third-party product certification body committed to upholding quality, impartiality, and compliance in Malaysia’s construction materials industry. We are currently expanding our operations and seek a qualified and motivated individual to join our team as:

POSITION :COMPLIANCE OFFICER

VACANCY :1 POSITION

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Handle and coordinate client enquiries and product certification applications.

Review application documents for completeness and compliance with certification requirements.

Conduct document evaluation and prepare the required Document Evaluation Checklist.

Coordinate certification activities and maintain certification records throughout the certification process.

Prepare assessment reports and supporting certification documentation.

Compile and prepare certification files and documents for submission to the Product Certification Committee (PCC).

Coordinate the preparation and collection of Certificates of Conformity and related certification documentation.

Act as secretariat and provide administrative support for IQAS committees and panels.

Maintain accurate, complete and traceable certification records.

Maintain impartiality-related records and support monitoring of impartiality requirements.

Coordinate with Certification Managers, Quality personnel, Auditors, Technical Experts, laboratories and clients as required.

Ensure certification activities are carried out in accordance with IQAS procedures, applicable certification schemes and ISO/IEC 17065 requirements.

Perform other certification and administrative duties assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Experience in product certification, quality assurance, conformity assessment, testing, inspection, manufacturing or construction will be an advantage.

Good attention to detail and ability to review technical and administrative documentation systematically.

Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Competent in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable working with digital document management systems.

Able to manage multiple certification files and follow established procedures and deadlines.

Strong sense of integrity, confidentiality and impartiality.

TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

Candidate shall be prepared to undergo training in ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, ISO/IEC 17065 Product Certification, applicable product standards, and IQAS certification procedures.

Willing to participate in internal and external technical training, competency assessments and ongoing professional development.

Prior ISO 9001 awareness, internal auditor, or related quality-management training is an advantage but not mandatory.

The successful candidate will be progressively trained in document evaluation, certification requirements, audit processes and conformity assessment activities.
