Hata Capital Limited is seeking passionate interns to support our compliance efforts in the cryptocurrency space in Kuala Lumpur. You will learn about AML, CTF, CPF policies and gain hands-on experience in maintaining compliance records and reporting.

As an intern, you will work under the Compliance Officer and Legal Counsel, with mentorship from our CEO. Candidates pursuing law, business, finance, or related fields and strong English writing skills are encouraged to apply.

Qualificações

• Pursuing or holding a degree in Law / Business and Management / Finance / or other related degrees
• Strong English proficiency with strong communication and writing skills
• Genuine interest in the cryptocurrency space
• Basic understanding of cryptocurrency concepts is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Assist in reviewing customer onboarding documents for individuals and entities.
• Assist in reviewing alerts flagged by the transaction monitoring system.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of compliance reviews and decisions.
• Support in updating internal compliance logs and documentation trackers.
• Assist in preparing internal compliance reports and compiling data for regulatory reporting purposes.
• Perform other administrative or operational tasks as required by the compliance team.

Get to know the role

We're looking for passionate, eager-to-learn interns with strong written English skills to support our compliance efforts in the cryptocurrency space.

As an intern, you will learn about the importance of compliance frameworks, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF), and Counter-Proliferation Financing (CPF) policies. You will also gain hands‑on experience in compliance operations related to DAXs, understanding how to operate the platform in a fully compliant manner. You will report to the Compliance Officer and Legal Counsel, with mentorship opportunities from our CEO, who is happy to provide references for future career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Ideal candidates will have

Background

Pursuing or holding a degree in Law / Business and Management / Finance / or other related degrees

Relevant educational background or prior working experience in compliance, risk management, or financial regulations is a plus.

Strong English proficiency with strong communication and writing skills are required.

Genuine interest in and passion for the cryptocurrency and blockchain space.

Basic understanding of cryptocurrency concepts, trends, and technologies is a plus.

Skills and Experience

Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory standards related to cryptocurrency is an advantage.

Prior experience is valued, but a strong willingness to learn and adapt in a rapidly changing environment is key.

Ability to navigate and succeed in a fast‑paced and dynamic industry.

Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
