Job summary

Ria Money Transfer in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Compliance Analyst to join our risk and oversight team. You will monitor transactions, review onboarding documentation, and prepare clear risk assessments to support secure, compliant operations.

This role emphasizes analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong communication to convey findings to internal partners. You will collaborate with FIU and Oversight to uphold global sanctions and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Sanction Screening: Monitor and screen client transactions and relationships against global sanction lists to identify and escalate any potential matches.
• Adverse Media Monitoring: Conduct checks for negative news and adverse media related to clients.
• Onboarding review: Analyze information and documentation for onboarding of new partners.
• Report Preparation: Prepare detailed reports and documentation of findings, including risk assessments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with FIU and Oversight teams.

• Adverse Media Monitoring: Conduct regular checks for negative news and adverse media reports related to clients, assessing the impact and escalating findings as necessary.
• Onboarding review: analysis of information and documentation for the onboarding of new partners.
• Report Preparation: Prepare detailed reports and documentation of findings, including risk assessments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with FIU and Oversight teams.
