Job summary

AMICI FOOD SOLUTIONS SDN BHD in Johor Bahru is seeking Commis I/II/III for Bakery & Pastry roles. You will assist in producing breads, cakes, pastries, and desserts per approved recipes, with duties varying by level from entry-level support to station-based responsibilities under supervision.

Ideal candidates follow recipes and production schedules, work well in team settings, and may hold a certificate/diploma in Baking or Culinary Arts. Fresh graduates are welcome for Commis III.

Qualifications

• Able to follow recipes, instructions and production schedules.
• Able to work in a team within a busy production environment.
• Certificate or Diploma in Baking, Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts is an advantage.
• Commis I: Preferably 2–3 years of relevant bakery or pastry experience
• Commis II: Preferably 1–2 years of relevant experience
• Commis III: Fresh graduates and entry-level applicants are welcome

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing breads, cakes, pastries, desserts and fillings according to approved recipes
• Weigh and prepare ingredients accurately for daily production
• Assist with mixing, kneading, shaping, proofing, baking and finishing as assigned
• Support cake assembly, decorating, portioning and packing
• Maintain proper ingredient storage, labelling and stock rotation
• Record production quantities and wastage as assigned
• Keep workstations, utensils and equipment clean
• Follow company food safety, hygiene, GMP and Halal procedures
• Report ingredient shortages, quality issues and equipment faults to the CDP or supervisor
