Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a Senior Tendering and Commercial Manager in Kuala Lumpur to lead the full tendering and bidding process within the construction sector. The role covers pre-qualification, contract review, and cost control, while collaborating with project, engineering, and procurement teams.

Ideal candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field with 3–5 years of experience, strong contract knowledge, and excellent communication and negotiation skills;

• 3–5 years of experience in tendering, commercial management, or business development within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, tendering procedures, and cost estimation.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant tendering tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full tendering and bidding process, from pre-qualification to submission
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives
• Oversee project cost planning, budgeting, and financial performance
• Develop pricing strategies to enhance competitiveness and profitability
• Work closely with project, engineering, and procurement teams
• Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
• Support business development and client relationship management
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, company policies, and legal requirements
