The Role
The successful candidate will provide strategic, administrative and educational leadership to ensure the effective management and continuous development of the College.
The role will oversee the College's academic and operational performance, financial management, student recruitment and retention, staff management, and regulatory compliance. The incumbent will also work closely with staff, students, parents, management and external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of the College's objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategic planning, management and development of the College.
Oversee the general administration and overall operations of the College, including supervision of academic and support functions.
Monitor the College's overall performance and drive continuous improvement across academic and operational areas.
Oversee the financial management of the College, including budget preparation, expenditure monitoring and cost management.
Ensure the College's budget, profitability and operational costs are effectively managed.
Lead and oversee student recruitment, admissions and retention, including monitoring student enrolment and attrition.
Oversee staffing and manpower requirements to support the effective operation of the College.
Oversee the development and implementation of academic programmes in accordance with relevant requirements and standards.
Ensure the College's compliance with applicable regulatory and statutory requirements, including those of relevant authorities such as MQA and MOHE.
Handle and engage with parents and students on academic, disciplinary and other matters where necessary.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, parents, partners and other stakeholders.
Provide leadership and direction to staff while fostering a positive and high-performing working environment.
Requirements
Possess at least a Master's Degree in Education Management, Finance, Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience, with at least 5 years of experience in a Deputy Principal / Principal or equivalent leadership position.
Prior experience in financial management, budgeting and/or strategic planning would be an advantage.
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions under pressure.
Excellent management, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate staff.
Strong organisational and analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with staff, students, parents, management and external education partners.
Strong commitment to continuous improvement, academic excellence and institutional development.
