Job summary

Toll Group is seeking an accounts receivable professional in Malaysia to manage a portfolio of customer accounts and ensure timely collection of receivables. You will follow up with customers by email and phone, negotiate payment commitments, and monitor adherence to payment plans.

As part of a broader collections and cash management team, you will collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, and Finance to resolve disputes and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, Credit Management, or Finance Operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables.

Collections & Cash Management

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables.
• Follow up with customers via email and phone to secure payments and resolve overdue balances.
• Negotiate payment commitments and monitor adherence to agreed payment plans.
• Support achievement of monthly cash collection and working capital targets.

Dispute Resolution

• Investigate customer disputes, deductions, and invoice discrepancies.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to facilitate timely dispute resolution.
• Monitor open disputes and drive closure within established timelines.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, and Finance teams to resolve customer issues.
• Escalate critical collection matters when necessary.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, Credit Management, or Finance Operations.
